Chocolate Coconut Dipped Strawberries
This recipe came about on a hot summer evening after a visit to the farmers' market earlier in the day. We hope you love this simple dessert just as much as we do.
1 pint strawberries
1/2 cup nut butter of choice (we prefer coconut)
pinch sea salt
1 teaspoon raw cocoa powder
1/4 cup finely shredded coconut
Method
If needed, wash and dry the strawberries. The nut butter will stick better to dry strawberries.
In a small bowl mix your nut butter of choice, raw cocoa powder and pinch of sea salt. Combine until mixed well.
In another small bowl, place the shredded coconut.
Dip each strawberry into the chocolate nut butter and then gently press into the coconut.
Place on a serving plate and enjoy right away or refrigerate for later.
